Practically a southeast Denver landmark, the Fresh Fish Company is still
swimming along after three decades, offering a famously huge selection
of nearly two dozen varieties of fish and pretty much every other
creature of both land and sea. The menu doesn't change much, and
neither does the decor; for Fresh Fish loyalists, that's all part of the
appeal. Lobster, crab and eight kinds of oysters are on offer at both
lunch and dinner, as are salads, soups and a dizzying array of sides,
sauces and sweets. In landlocked Denver, the Fresh Fish Company offers a
reliably decadent experience, especially to birthday diners, who
receive a discount equal to their number of years on the planet. Just
plan to go home with a box or two.
